CURRENT WEBSITE NOTICE

Privacy notice

A small website, a direct conversation, and a clear account of where your information goes.

This privacy notice describes the website as it operates today.

Effective October 21, 2026

Who this notice covers.

This notice covers pazdrums.com, the Paz Drums website featuring Justin Paz’s handmade drums in Spokane, Washington. For privacy questions, contact justin@pazdrums.com.

The website currently accepts inquiries, not online orders or payments. We will update this notice before adding checkout, new tracking tools, or other materially different uses of personal information.

What you choose to share.

The inquiry form asks for your name, email address, interest, and message. You may also supply playing experience, size preferences, budget, city or region, and sound preferences. We use these details to answer you, discuss a drum or build, and keep track of that conversation.

Do not include payment-card details, banking information, identity documents, or other sensitive information in the form. We do not need them to answer a drum inquiry.

Preparing, copying, or downloading an inquiry draft does not itself send that draft to Justin. The draft remains in the page while it is open; a downloaded copy is saved on your device, and copied text goes to your clipboard. Sending the form or using your email app transmits the information through the services involved.

The services involved.

  • Cloudflare hosts and delivers the website and provides security and email-delivery services. Normal network and security processing can include IP addresses, request times, requested URLs, browser information, and error or security signals.
  • Cloudflare also provides traffic and performance measurements for the site and may add a browser beacon to measure page visits and loading performance. Browser security or privacy settings may limit that measurement. It is separate from the contents of an inquiry.
  • When you open an enabled inquiry form, Cloudflare Turnstile loads to help distinguish people from automated abuse. The spam check processes technical browser and network signals. Our server sends the verification token and connecting IP address to Cloudflare for verification.
  • Submitted inquiries are delivered through Cloudflare to Justin’s Yahoo mailbox. Messages sent to justin@pazdrums.com also forward to that mailbox. Email providers handle and retain those messages under their own policies; replies may come from Justin’s Yahoo address.
  • Google Fonts supplies the website’s typefaces. Your browser requests font resources from Google, which receives the network information needed to serve them, such as an IP address and browser/request details.
  • Links to Audiowords and other external resources take you to services with their own privacy practices. Video and drum images currently shown here are served as website files rather than embedded social-media players.

Cookies, logs, and what we do not use.

We do not currently run advertising pixels, a marketing mailing list, or customer accounts. Cloudflare provides site traffic and performance measurements as described above. We do not sell inquiry details or use them for targeted advertising.

The inquiry and learning tools do not deliberately save your entries in browser local storage or a customer database. Hosting, security, and email providers may use essential cookies or similar technology and maintain operational logs. This notice is not a claim that every provider request is anonymous or that no technical data is retained.

The application does not deliberately log your inquiry message, email address, or spam-check token. Website infrastructure can still retain request metadata and operational diagnostics. Avoid putting personal information into URL query strings.

Keeping and sharing information.

Inquiries and replies are kept in the business email conversation as needed to respond, manage an ongoing relationship, resolve a problem, and meet applicable recordkeeping requirements. We do not promise automatic deletion after a fixed number of days. Provider logs, backups, and email copies are subject to the providers’ own retention practices.

Access is limited to Justin and people helping administer the Paz Drums website or answer the inquiry, as needed for that work. Service providers process information to operate the website and email. We may also disclose information when required by law or reasonably necessary to address fraud, security incidents, or a dispute.

Service providers may process information in the United States or other countries where they operate. We use access controls and service security features, but no internet or email system can be guaranteed completely secure.

Your choices and questions.

You can browse without submitting an inquiry, omit optional fields, or email Justin directly instead of using the form. Direct email still passes through the relevant email providers.

To ask about access to, correction of, or deletion of information you supplied, contact justin@pazdrums.com. We may need to verify that the request relates to you and may retain records needed for legal, security, transaction, or dispute purposes. We will respond as required by applicable law.

The website is intended for general audiences and is not directed at children under 13. A parent or guardian should handle inquiries for a child’s drum. If you believe a child has supplied personal information, contact us so we can address it.

If this notice changes.

The date shown above identifies the current notice. Material changes will be explained on this page and, where appropriate, through a more prominent notice. Checkout is not active, so this notice does not describe Stripe as a current payment-data recipient.

YOUR NEXT INSTRUMENT STARTS HERE

Let’s talk drums.

Tell Justin what you have in mind.

Send a note directly to Justin, or email justin@pazdrums.com. This is an inquiry, not an order or reservation.

A few more details (optional)
The sound I’m drawn to (optional)

Choose any that feel useful. A full bass and a bright slap can belong to the same drum. Leave the rest for a conversation with Justin.

What do these sound words mean? ↗ (opens a new tab)

These are listening preferences, not a sound guarantee. You can describe a favorite drum, recording, or phrase in your note, too.

Your name, email, and note are used to answer your inquiry. Sending uses Cloudflare and Justin’s email provider. Please leave out payment details and sensitive information. This does not place an order or reserve a drum. Read the privacy notice.
