Pickup & shipping

A handmade instrument deserves a clear plan for getting it home.

Effective October 21, 2026

Start close to home.

Our service area is local pickup in Spokane, Washington, and shipping to the contiguous 48 United States. Alaska, Hawaii, territories, and international destinations are outside the initial shipping area.

Pickup is by appointment. Justin will confirm the location and a time with you; please do not travel to collect a drum without that confirmation.

Know the full cost first.

Before payment, your written order confirmation will identify the exact drum, price in USD, applicable tax, included accessories, shipping or pickup arrangement, and expected shipment or pickup date.

Shipping and protective packing are quoted for the actual packed instrument and destination. There is no flat-rate or free-shipping promise. Any packing charge will be itemized before you agree to buy.

For shipped orders, Paz Drums will arrange tracked delivery and appropriate carrier coverage. You will receive tracking once the parcel is handed to the carrier. Transit estimates are estimates, not guaranteed arrival dates.

A date you can plan around.

The shipment date for a finished drum will be confirmed before payment, after packing needs are checked. A custom drum has its own agreed build and shipment schedule. We do not accept payment first and leave the shipment date open-ended.

If we cannot ship by the agreed date, we will contact you by that date with a revised date and the choice to accept the delay or cancel the unshipped order for a prompt full refund. We will request your affirmative agreement to a revised date. If you decline, or do not agree before the original deadline, we will cancel and refund the unshipped order.

These delay and refund protections also apply to custom orders and deposits. Custom-cancellation deductions do not apply when the refund is owed because we cannot meet the shipment commitment and you do not accept the delay.

If the journey leaves a mark.

Inspect the drum and packaging on arrival. If the parcel is damaged, the wrong drum arrives, or the instrument is missing, contact justin@pazdrums.com promptly. For visible damage, photos within 48 hours are especially helpful, but that request does not take away your rights if a problem is discovered later.

Keep the box, padding, labels, and any damaged parts while we work with you. Photograph the outer box, packing, and drum. Do not send it back or arrange a repair until we have agreed on the next step.

Paz Drums will handle the carrier claim and arrange the appropriate remedy with you. You will not be asked to resolve a shipping-damage claim with the carrier on your own. Required refunds will not be held up while a carrier claim is pending.

A few more details (optional)
The sound I’m drawn to (optional)

Choose any that feel useful. A full bass and a bright slap can belong to the same drum. Leave the rest for a conversation with Justin.

What do these sound words mean? ↗ (opens a new tab)

These are listening preferences, not a sound guarantee. You can describe a favorite drum, recording, or phrase in your note, too.

Your name, email, and note are used to answer your inquiry. Sending uses Cloudflare and Justin’s email provider. Please leave out payment details and sensitive information. This does not place an order or reserve a drum. Read the privacy notice.
